It may have been a bug or glitch on my part, but with CsTW, if you go into Cthulu's angels mode, get up to roughly Kingsport, and change your party around to where October isn't in the first slot (I did Molly, Elona, Umi, then October) after you reload you will have more than 1 October in your party; the other character poofs into the mists, and you'll have 2 October sprites.

Other than that, I bought both BoD VII and This and am loving both of them! Keep on making awesome games like these, and I'll keep buying em!

I"m liking the game a lot so far. Two issues- First, the beginning text said something about saving at any time, but I can't find an option to do so except at the white glowy save points. Second, I can't get out of the game except by quitting. Using the Windows key should let me switch from game to other windows, and it does show me the bottom bar where the icons for those other pages are, and when I mouse over them, they come up on the screen. However, if I select one of those other windows, it just goes back to the game. Frustrating. I can't save and quit, and I can't get out of the game to do other stuff another way.

One of the previous commentators mentioned the difficulty, which I have to admit is a bit steep, especially early on where I was easily getting killed by random battles in the Beach Cave. However, this is Cthulu (the main reason I bought it) and it's an old fashioned RPG the kind I have always loved. I am still playing it, and still giving it a chance.

I absolutely love the humour and giggled myself sick just during some of the opening and rescuing Umi. Can't wait to try Breath of Death VII afterwards. I bought it ages ago as a two-pack on Steam, and due to computer issues hadn't played it until now. I'm very glad I did wait, cause I'm enjoying it tremendously despite that first aforementioned bit about the difficulty. Anyways, keep up the great work!

We need more classic style RPGs. As an RPG Maker user, I see that today's RPGs are getting impractically fancy and essentially devolving from what we have come to love.

The previous comment let me take a look at the game again (perhaps the 2 comment should be merged)
I just grinded -a bit- more and finally got the boss, and now having fun again.
Strange, how the boss after is weak, by the way.
Exept for those few balancing issue, i love it (again) especially the humor, in fact.

Since there is no forum, i'll just say that some boss (hint, ape princess) are really too much on the hard side.
The invincible add and the always-hit-in-first boss make it impossible if we havent grinded ten bazillion hours before.
its gamebreaking, i didnt touched the game since then :/

Can this game be bought for PC in hard copy somewhere? Have some friends who wouldn't be using Steam. Additionally, delivering this game in hard copy form adds to the whole nostalgia feel that this game has. I'm totally enjoying this game, and I'd like to share it with more!

Just wondering if Zeboyd realized this game & Breath of Death 7 got reviewed by Totalbiscuit and got a pretty favorable review a week or two ago. Especially Cthulu. It's fun listening to a commenter break into laughter. It was part of a live marathon but he's posting the individual vids now. The Cthulu one was just posted on his Youtube channel.

I just downloaded the game on 360 this afternoon, and it's a blast, but something has me confused. Umi stopped being a trident-wielding mage and now I can't equip her with weapons other than Sharpe (this doesn't seem to make sense). She does a ton more damage than Cthulu or Sharpe and I don't know what is going on- is this a glitch? Also her hair is white.
