After working for most of Christmas on it, it’s finally ready! Cthulhu Saves the World was just uploaded to the XNA playtesting forums a few moments ago. It should be available for download in a couple hours (if you’re a Creator’s Club member) here. I want to add a few more jokes and do a little more testing before submitting it to peer review, but the game should be completely playable from start to finish now.

Assuming it doesn’t fail peer review when I submit it on Monday, Cthulhu Saves the World is right on track to come out on December 29th. Finally!

  1. Cool! Thanks for the reply.
I’m a gonna buy it as soon as it hits 🙂

(In my head I have the equivalent of the Mervyn’s lady standing outside of the store doors going “Open, Open, Open, Open”, etc…. :-))

  2. Since they switched the way Top Downloads are measured on the dashboard (just sales, not sales + trials), it doesn’t really matter either way.

  3. Ready to buy once it hits LIVE!

One question for you though… is it better for you for us to download the trial, then convert to full… or just buy outright?

I was not sure if Trial Conversions are better than direct purchases for your stats…. let us know so we can maximize your success! 🙂

  4. Congratulations!

Polishing and adding humor and richness to a game is the fun part. It’s the little things in a game like this, such as the humorous tidbits on the tombstones in Breath of Death, that will make it great. Have fun with it.
