I was hoping that people would like the idea for our new game, but I wasn’t quite prepared for just how much they liked it. The story for our announcement got picked up by just about every gaming site I follow and the articles (and most of the comments) were hugely positive. Just to link to a few in no particular order…

Joystiq, IGN, Destructoid, Polygon, RockPaperShotgun, Eurogamer, US Gamer, Kotaku, RPGamer, RPGFan, AnimeNewsNetwork, and many, many, more.

I’m planning on writing an article on Monday about some of the lessons that we’ve learned from our previous games and how we intend to use those lessons to make Cosmic Star Heroine our best game ever. Look forward to it!

  1. Will admit hype is climbing. A lot of people are really hyped for the Suikoden mention. I am looking forward to hearing how customization will work in this game, myself. To be absolutely honest with you, you guys haven’t done a bad game yet, so all of us are just looking forward to more of the good stuff. I have an itchy index finger waiting for your kickstarter =)

    Have a good night.

  2. You guys honestly deserve all of this, the exposure, the positive comments and so forth. The quality of the games you’ve been putting out has been increasing from ‘good’ (Breath of Death VII) to amazing (Penny Arcade 4) and I have no doubt that CSH will be a masterpiece. I look forward to every new release from Zeboyd with grant anticipation, since I know that you guys will always remain ‘true’ to the formula that made you successful, the very simple thing that had been lost to us gamers a long time ago: The revival of classic 2D RPGs. Now I know that you guys are not the only one out there doing this, but I feel like only Zeboyd can do it in such an amazing way.

The best part is, being a gamer on a budget, your games are always affordable and give me more than enough bang for my buck, which is a lot more than some ‘AAA’ titles can pretend to. (10 hour campaigns for 60 bucks? No thanks)

So here’s me tipping off my non-existent hat to Zeboyd and looking forward to many years of success and releases from you guys. When the kickstarter comes up, you’ll definitely be able to count me amongst the backers.
