  1. By exploding, I mean large sums of funding, not % of goal. Undertale had a really low goal to begin with, so even though it greatly exceeded its initial goal, it still hasn’t even reach $50k.

In any case, you’re welcome to post additional kickstarters in the comments if you feel I missed something worthwhile.

  2. So Undertale’s 830% funding doesn’t qualify as exploding?

I dunno, I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but I didn’t realise that was your criteria. Your updates seemed to be more inclusive in the past and I think some of these projects could use a bit of exposure. I get that you have your personal preferences but this update just feels a bit lacking, that’s all.

  3. My weekly kickstarter reports aren’t meant to show every kickstarter each week, just kickstarters that I personally find interesting in some way, either because they’re for a game that I would personally play or because I think they’ll be fun to see how high funding reaches (generally high profile kickstarters with known developers, although sometimes this is true for really bizarre kickstarters like the interactive radio drama game I mentioned this week). None of the kickstarters you mentioned particularly interest me in either way – they’re not games I would play and they’re all small projects that are unlikely to explode in funding.

  4. Really? You just posted the current Staff Picks…

Organic Panic, Balrum, Tangiers, Undertale, Lioness, Monochroma and more. There’s a lot going on this week!

I understand if you’re busy and don’t have much time for this… but it took me 5 minutes to look these up.
