First up, we have Divinity: Original Sin – a turn-based classic computer-style RPG in the Divinity series. I believe they’ve said that the game is coming out no matter what, but the extra $400k they’re seeking to raise from kickstarter will allow them to improve the game in a number of ways. Compared to most classic RPG kickstarters we’ve seen, it looks surprisingly polished and filled with content already. They’re up to around $100k so far with 29 days left to go so they’ve got a good shot at this.
Next, we have Battle Worlds: Kronos – a turn-based strategy game that appears to be basically Advance Wars with 3D visuals and a futuristic setting. The game looks solid & backers apparently agree because it’s already raised $133k ($120k goal) with 30 days left to go.
Finally, we have a kickstarter to Revive Retronauts. Retronauts was a popular gaming podcast focused on classic gaming. They’re up to $40k ($12k goal) with 24 days left to go – at $72k, they’ll also create a Retronauts website/forum in addition to the podcast.
That’s it for this week! We’re finishing up the convention season this week so next week, Zeboyd Games will be back to daily updates.

For the Europeans among us (especially the Germans), Battle Worlds: Chronos is heavily inspired by Blue Byte’s classical Battle Isle Series (not only the title). It’s what I would’ve loved Battle Isle 4 to be instead of that weird mix of turn-based/rts phases and especially after how good Incubation was.
