Right now, we’re the highest rated XBLIG in the US! This honestly boggles my mind. I don’t know how long it’ll last (we’re obviously very close to IMAGWZII since we dropped back to #2 briefly yesterday before going back to #1), but even if we only end up staying in the top spot for a short time, we’re extremely pleased.

Reviews have started coming in for Breath of Death VII and they’re very positive. Here and here both really liked it. This article was also very positive. Also, I was on the RPGamer Podcast last Saturday to talk about the game and various RPG stuff.

  1. Picked it up tonight and I’m already enjoying it more than the last two RPGs I found time for this semester: “Dragon Age: Origins” and “Fable II.” I’m even putting “Batman: Arkham Asylum” on hold to finish this.

    Fantastic.

  2. Having a great time with the game – nice work. However, can you help put my mind to rest? Are all of these little secret chests totally unobtainable? I’ve found 4-5 doors/chests that hint at being opened but with no “keys” in sight! Is this part of the parody? There’s the treasure room in teh castle, the big door in teh dungeon, several chests in towns…arrrgggg!! 🙂

  3. Please god never stop making RPGs for Xbox. Clones of everything: Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, Final Fantasy 6, anything. You’ve already made the best Dragon Quest game ever. Oh and try to get them on XBLA. Seriously, you guys rule. =D

  4. Great to hear. Finally a jrpg style rpg indie game. I put 5 hours into it so far and love it.
Would love a follow up and would pay even 240 points for one. 80 is always good too though. 🙂
