There’s a new interview over on Rock Paper Shotgun about our games and the upcoming enhanced PC version for Cthulhu Saves the World. You can read it here.

Also, Complex did a recent article talking about their 25 favorite XBLIGs. Lots of great games there, including our own (Cthulhu Saves the World at #5). You can read their mini-review of Cthulhu here.

  1. Fun read. I like how you mention what you are adding to the game, and I have to admit, I am really looking forward to it. Going to have to play hard mode to get ready for the new difficulty before release.

You guys are doing a great job. I am hoping you all can keep changing my jaded mind more and more about companies that make rpg’s nowadays. None of them have the magic they used to due to the reason you listed in your article, they seem to focus too much on the non gameplay elements, like movies and what not. Your games may not compete in the graphics department with the high budget games, but your games capture the magic that has been gone for a long time, basically since the last few years of the ps2 and into this console generation to present. Not sure why, but companies just don’t understand how to make a great rpg anymore. Whenever I am asked for an example of what I mean, I pick the opera scene from final fantasy 3/6. That scene was pretty much the pinnacle of non movie theatrics in games, and it is a sincere shame they let that kind of scene disappear from modern games. That scene got me into the game more than any cg movie ever put in a video game.

One last thing, thank you so much for making these available on the xbox. Keep the games coming on there, and I guarantee you will have at least one sell from me, be it 1 dollar, 5 dollar, or 15 dollars once your games hit that price range of complexity.
