Robert Boyd has wanted to make RPGs since he was a little kid. He dabbled in programming as a teenager (doing a hack for a Slayers SNES RPG that added some English translations, as well as experimenting with the VERGE RPG creation system to make the game Rainbow Despair) and a young adult, but didn’t get serious about it until Microsoft started its XNA initiative that allowed anyone to make their own Xbox 360 games. His first games were text-based visual novels – Epiphany in Spaaace! and Molly the Were-Zompire. He then teamed up with Bill Stiernberg to make Breath of Death VII: The Beginning. He loves developing new battle systems for their games and making cheesy jokes. In addition to his native English, he has some fluency in Mandarin Chinese and has lived in Taiwan for about 5 years off and on. Robert is happily married and has 6 children.
