I know I said that I was going to try to write a review daily this week, but I got distracted by Rock, Paper, Shotgun advertising that they’re looking for a new writer. I’m a big fan of the site and I do a lot of game-related writing already anyway, so I went ahead and applied. Wrote an article that I thought was rather amusing for the application – I’ll be sure to post it in a few weeks if they don’t want it.
Progress on the job & battle system for the new game is coming along. Should have a battle prototype soon.
Oh and I’ll be wandering around Anime Expo this Friday & Saturday with my wife & daughter. I’ll probably be wearing my Cthulhu Saves the World shirt so if you see me, feel free to say hi.

Good luck with the writing app. Been debating on giving it a try on a few websites myself, but when I think about it, I enjoy playing the games more than analyzing them. Took a college class on analyzing film, and ever since, I can’t be happy with just watching a movie, and little mistakes get to me sometimes….
example being “Night and the Museum 2” when they are riding on the plane and Ben Stiller’s face shows little emotion to even hint that he is actually flying. That always bugged me.

I must say: I never played a single game you made and I’m counting the days for 13 july. I’m hyped for Cthullu PC because of your writings about JRPG on Gamasutra. I saw videos, of course, but my hype came almost entirely from the articles.
