Announcement time!

Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 will come out for PC (Steam) and the Xbox 360 (Xbox Live Indie Games) on July 10th, 2012.

Some other details:

The price will be $5 for the PC version and 400 MS points for the XBLIG version.
Steamplay will get you both the PC & Mac versions (Mac version to come at a later date).
Mobile versions are still under way. Details on those will be announced later.

We’re very excited about this game – We think it is a huge improvement over Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII and can’t wait for more people to have a chance to play it.

In the meantime, here are a couple new screenshots to whet your appetites. Screenshot 1 and Screenshot 2.

  1. Will there be an Android release as well? I could play this on PC, but I’ve got more time to play while traveling..

  2. Already?
    Cool, looking forward to it!

  3. No word yet on a PS3 version.

  4. Sorry about the absence of kickstarter reports. I’ve been so busy getting this game ready that those have fallen by the wayside. I’ll be starting them back up again soon.

  5. No more kickstarter video game reports?

  6. So pumped!

  7. Awesome! Thanks for the great Birthday present, I will definitely be treating myself to this.

  8. Excellent. Any preordering on Steam available? With or without bonuses, doesn’t matter, just nice to get a game bought and done with so it loads up day one.

  9. I AM EXCITED!

  10. Cannot wait, I’m a big fan of your games and it’s great to see this one get so much of the spotlight.

  11. Hopefully Mac and/or mobile versions come out close to then as well, as I know there are some like me that don’t have a PC or an Xbox 360 and would love to play this game.
