Indie video game designer Zeboyd Games has announced today that its co-founders and chief executives, Robert Boyd and Bill Stiernberg will be stepping down. This follows a revision to Zeboyd Games results forecast for the fiscal year. Expected net sales of their proposed unofficial Beyond the Beyond sequel were reduced from 5 billion to “something more reasonable.”

Bill Stiernberg and Robert Boyd have led Zeboyd Games since its creation in 2010. It is believed that they will still remain with the company in the roles of developers. It is currently unknown who will take the helm moving forward since Robert Boyd and Bill Stiernberg are the only staff members that Zeboyd Games employs.

Happy April Fool’s Day!

  1. Holy crap, a Beyond the Beyond sequel would be awesome.

Of course, that’s what I thought about Golden Sun DS..

  2. Haha awesome, looks like Zeboyd Games & Square-Enix have something in common here.

  3. Ok, thats fun =)

Beyond the Beyond sequel….I would actually buy that. I need to play through the game again and actually beat it this time, as when I played it like 15 years ago, I made it to the final dungeon but never beat it. It was a hard, but satisfying game.
