We did a sale of our games on Steam a few weeks ago but we haven’t forgotten all you Xbox owners out there! Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is on sale now for 240 MS points (the lowest that Microsoft will let us charge for a game of that size).
We’d put our other games on Xbox on sale as well, but Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World are already only 80 MS points! What a bargain!
I think I am finally done with Xbox Live. Let my account expire 2 months ago when I finally was able to get my credit card off of xbox live by getting a new one and not letting it anywhere near Microsoft’s service. Kinda tired of not being able to play my indie games without a constant online connection as well which makes it a rental that makes me realize even more that I don’t own the games I supposedly bought off that service. Thinking of seeing about hooking my computer up to my tv with a splitter between my monitor and tv, and giving that steam big picture thing a try, and just re-purchasing copies of your games there.
Oh, and sorry for the bitching =p Microsoft has just basically gone down the crapper these last few years and I hate being forced to download all the stuff they force onto my xbox that I never wanted. They want too much control and don’t offer anything in return to the consumer on both the xbox and OS front.
