Cosmic Star Heroine coming to PS4, Vita, PC, Mac! Teaser trailer!

Yesterday, at Sony’s PAX Indie party, we announced that Cosmic Star Heroine will be coming to PS4, Vita, PC,and Mac! You can read more on the Playstation Blog and IGN.

  4. Chris, I hear you, as I have about zero interest in any of the PS4 or Xbox One launch titles (but, frankly, I’m not very interested in Wii U either). There’s quite a bit of fun stuff on Vita, though, or at least stuff that interests me personally.

    Also, as others have said, Zeboyd will still be on PC! Zeboyd was never on any Nintendo platform anyway, were they? (I have to admit, seeing them on 3DS would be neat.)

  5. Chris C., don’t you own a PC? You will still be able to play this at launch if so. It’s only CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE To Sony. I don’t get the freak out here.

  6. Welp, settles this for me. Was fun while it lasted, but I will be back in a year or two when I get around to buying a ps4. Guessing you got paid for exclusivity since you are using Unity and yet not putting the game on every platform that uses Unity. I am Wii U bound, because I feel creativity is more my want rather than grey, brown, and first person shooters, or extremely large and buggy open world games.

    Only posted because I hope you expand the game you make after this one to hit more platforms besides just Sony as I truly enjoyed your games but am just not interested in playing the same 4 types of games that are already splattered all over the ps3 and xbox 360. I was shocked to see PS4, and not PS3.

  7. I don’t think they get it on YouTube. It’s just a bunch of whiny people who want to shoot stuff.

    You guys nailed the Sega CD vibe with this trailer. I’m way more excited about this than I am for any of the PS4 or Xbox One’s “AAA” launch titles (which frankly all look totally uninteresting).

    Now, can I please have the entire Zeboyd back catalog on PS Vita??

    Cosmic Star Heroine will be a day one Vita purchase for me (and PC during a Steam sale too, no doubt).

  8. I have to say I’m a bit disappointed with this teaser trailer, it seems rushed and with lower visual quality than what I’m used from you guys (especially after Precipice 4).

    I know it’s only a teaser, but Alyssas animation looks clunky, the screen with the message looks good and it’s well thought of, though I don’t particularly like the cartoony curve-like look of the first screen of the city, when we get to see the flying traffic it also looks good, so does the city panorama, the close up on the hero and the exterior of the spaceship are great too, but the chairs in the interior looked unfinished, the part with the crowd surrounding the hero also looked clunky. It looks unprofessional, generally speaking.

    Liked the music and the title appearance. And I’m still looking forward for the game, just thought I’d give my opinion.

  9. Omg I cannot wait. I’m hoping by the trailer that you guys are further along in development than most people had assumed
